Favorite children’s story/book
My favorite children’s book is an Australian classic. The Magic Pudding by Norman Lindsay. In this book there is a sentient pudding named Albert who regenerates after each time he is eaten. Over the course of the book, the protagonists Bill Barnacle, Bunyip Bluegum, and Sam Sawnoff meet and protect Albert from pudding thieves. This book has a special place in my heart because being someone with Australian decent, it was quite exciting for little me to read a where the many of the characters were Australian animals.
Favorite month of the year
My favorite month of the year is September. Now I know that a lot of people dislike september because it means that summer is over and the new school year is starting and I feel that, but I believe that there are so many positives. First off, the weather is exceptional. Warm days with cooler nights and very little humitity is the perfect climate for outdoor activies. September is also the perfect month for apple picking as most apple variety reach their peak ripening period. I cannot wait to have a proper picknick with my family on some grassy patch while eating freshly picked Granny Smiths!
Favorite restaurant in the Cambridge area
The Deluxe Town Diner in Watertown has to be my favorite food place in this area. Like any old fashioned diner, the Deluxe town diner has the tradional train car exterior, booth seating, and swivel chairs at the counter so that you can watch the most delicious hash browns and eggs being cooked on the flat-top grill. Just stepping into this place brings me joy. Having a restraunt to go to that has kept its old-timley vibes is truly special.
