You have 300 apples to sell at a market 100 miles away. Unfortunately, you’re very hungry, so for every mile you walk, you need to eat one of the apples.

Additionally, you can only carry a maximum of 100 apples at any given time. What route should you take to maximize the number of apples that you can sell at the market?

Note: It may sound unsanitary, but you can leave apples on the road to pick up later. Feel free to go backwards too.
