This cinnamon swirl bread is a perfect breakfast or a yummy dessert! It is super quick to bake and makes your house smell amazing.

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 cup white sugar

1 egg, beaten

1 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

⅓ cup vegetable oil

Cinnamon sugar:

⅓ cup white sugar

3 tsp ground cinnamon

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the cinnamon sugar and set aside.
  2. Combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl. Then stir together the egg, milk, vanilla extract, and oil in a separate bowl and add to the flour mixture to create a batter.
  3. Pour half of the batter into the pan and sprinkle roughly half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter. Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the cinnamon sugar in the batter. Pour the rest of the batter into the pan and repeat with the rest of the cinnamon sugar to create a marble.
  4. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and place on a wire rack to cool completely.
