You know what they say: it’s never too early for December! Well, they’re not wrong, but you know what they don’t tell you? Beep beep—you have $24 in your bank account and less than a week left to buy your family, friends, and yourself a present before the holidays officially start! It’s funny because, despite the fact that holiday-themed decorations and snacks hit the stores well before Thanksgiving, you’ve been sitting around doing nothing until now.

It’s apparent who has been avidly waiting for the start of December; they will post on social media platforms (if they’re feeling bold, that is) about their advent calendars, a new and improved peppermint hot cocoa recipe, or even an ugly sweater featuring Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer on a sled pulled by dogs. They may also find the concept of last-minute holiday shopping unfathomable.

For those of you who are not members of the hardcore, top-tier elite percentage who planned out this year’s holiday plans last year, it’s understandable that you may be wary of the fast-approaching season. Do not fret, for there is a way! Thanks to the Register Forum, you’re now reading the top 5 best presents to give to a loved one before the end of 2022.

At number 5: A chia pet anything. They are of great nutritional value, and although they may look a tad messy in the end, they’re fun to grow!

Number 4: A nice heartfelt card with all the things you appreciate about them!

Number 3: Definitely gift them a mini ornament with your goofy (ahh) face on it!

Number 2: A wheel of cheese. Cheese consumption around the world continues to grow yearly; your loved ones should keep up with the trends!

And finally, first place goes to personalized face mugs! Their face has been around since the beginning of time; you may as well get them a present that is worth the money! Plus, who doesn’t love seeing their beautiful self on a mug every morning? Drinking coffee or OJ out of this cup surely will add a little bit of joy to their morning!
