Being able to have a smile on your face while knowing there are so many things against you.
Just being proud and standing up for what you believe in, standing up for your people, and standing up against injustice.
Continually [demonstrating] our perseverance and [expressing] our culture through endless hatred and discrimination.
Celebrating your heritage and not letting the past hold you down as a person and making a better life for yourself.
Black pride is self love. Black pride is community love. Black pride is love of humanity.
Being proud of my heritage and feeling at home with my people.
