Learn To Sail
This year the Learn To Sail team will involve “all age groups,” according to sophomore Finn Saunders-Zurn. The varsity sailing team doesn’t have cuts, but the ability of the Learn To Sail team to use all ages allows many to get into the sport who haven’t before. So, if you’ve ever thought about sailing before, the Learn To Sail Program is perfect for you.
Cheerleading
This year the cheerleading team, under the coaching of Jazzymyne Jacobs, will participate in two competitions: one toward the end of the football season in November and one in May. Sophomore Julia Reyes says that this year the team will be made up of "half seniors and half freshman,” which creates a very strong and mature team set up for success. Boy’s Football
The boys football team is gearing up for another season in Massachusetts Division II north. Most of the offense graduated last year, leaving sophomore Ashur Carraha as the starting quarterback. Learn to Row
Learn to Row is a program for beginner or novice rowers and acts as a feeder program for the competitive crew team. Fencing has seen an enormous increase in popularity at CRLS in the last several years. When the fencing team was first created, it had only five players. Golf
The golf team is ready for a new and challenging season this fall. The team plays at Fresh Pond Golf Course and encompases varsity and junior varsity levels. The girls soccer team is looking to the future after eleven seniors on the team graduated last year. In 2017, they posted a strong .500 record and made the tournament for the Dual County League. The girls cross country team is looking to show off their talent to the league this year. Despite having a younger group of people, they know they have all the pieces to be successful in this upcoming season. Boys cross country hopes to channel the energy that they had last season as they head into the fall. Three of their top five runners graduated in 2018; they hope new and returning faces will step up.
