CRLS Responds: “How do you feel about wearing masks?”

 “Personally I’m really excited that people are able to make personal choices regarding masks. COVID severity has decreased to a level where I feel safe with mask-wearing as an individual responsibility and not a communal responsibility.”

“I wear a mask at school because even though Covid wouldn’t endanger my life, a positive test would mean that I would have to miss school. I also wear a mask in school because I don’t know who is immunocompromised or not, and I would rather be safe than sorry.”

“I’m fine with the mask mandate ending, but I’m keeping my mask on.”

 “I’m not bothered by the end of the mask mandate, but I personally prefer wearing masks.”

“At this point in the pandemic people should be able to make the choice about wearing a mask. We should respect people’s choices.”

“I have for the most part stopped wearing a mask. I am following what I have been told is science by those I trust, as well as the safety of my family. I don’t want to make people feel unsafe.”

“I feel unsafe when others aren’t masking. As numbers rise we need to reinstate the mandate.”
