Salam Tesfaye ’22

I celebrate Orthodox Christmas. Prior to that, is a 43 day fasting period known as the Fast of the Prophets (Advent). This fast is in remembrance of how the prophets fasted and prayed for the coming Messiah. The reason why it’s celebrated on January 7th rather than December 25th is because different churches use different calendars to determine their holidays!
