With all the restrictions in the world nowadays, my friends and I were getting tired of not being able to be in all the bands we're usually in at the school, so we created something we like to call ‘6 foot jams’! It started as just me and my friend who also plays sax, and we would jam 6 feet apart from each other, but it expanded to our entire band being able to jam together regularly....

I spent most of my summer seeing my friends outside while social distancing with masks, and I got to go sailing over the summer which was really fun.

I got a job at Paddle Boston canoe and kayak at their Kendall Square location and I met new people which was probably the most exciting thing this summer.

One thing I wish I did this summer was going to Panama and Costa Rica through the glocal challenge. [I spent] my summer doing a few online internships, including the Mayor's Youth Program.
