As you no doubt have noticed, it is December once again. The holidays mean time with family, big meals, presents, and of course the most important part: ugly holiday sweaters. Now, there are many, many kinds of ugly sweaters…But which is the best kind?

We here at the Register Forum have pondered this for hours on end, but after all that effort, we were unable to figure out the best kind. This is where you come in. We need your help to figure out what the best ugly holiday sweater is. This signals the start of the First Annual Cambridge Rindge and Latin School Register Forum Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest (FACRLSRFUHSC, fah-CURLS-er-fusk).

We will accept your submissions on social media using the hashtag #CRLSUglySweater2017, and if you wear your sweater on Student Government’s ugly sweater spirit day (December 21st), Register Forum photographers will be in the lobby of the Rindge building during all lunches to take your photograph.

Then the First Annual Cambridge Rindge and Latin School Register Forum Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest Official Judgement Committee (FACRLSRFUHSCOJC)—comprised of the Register Forum’s editors, Student Body President Sophie Harrington, and yours truly—will vote on a winner. The winner will receive a $15 gift card to Broadway Marketplace and be featured on the Register Forum website.
